The Nikon website describes this camera as an 'update' of the Nikon L35AF but it is actually a significant down grade. It doesn't have the +2EV exposure compensation of the L35AF, and it doesn't have a thread on the lens barrel, so has it cannot take filters, lens hoods or conversion lenses either. The flash can be forced on by covering the cell window, but there doesn't seem to be any way of forcing it off. Tthe lens will focus to 65cm may.
The Nikon L35 AD2 is the same camera as this one with a date back.
